Critical Campaign Update: CJ Westfall for DCRP Chair
The latest updates from the campaign!
Friend,
I know life is busy - I just wanted to update you on the latest with our campaign going into the upcoming mid March reorganization. Below are names precincts within Dorchester County corresponding to the date, time, and location where the reorganization will occur for your area.
Chances are that elections for Chair of the Dorchester County Republican Party are unlike any other election you’ve voted in before. This FAQ is here to help first-time voters, newcomers to the process, and veteran party members who need a hand addressing voting concerns or finding their precinct.
Each precinct holds a reorganization meeting, which is open to all registered voters in the precinct. During these meetings, members elect precinct officers and may also nominate and elect delegates to represent their precinct at the county convention.

Latest From The Campaign:
Endorsements:
My team has been focused night and day on uniting Republicans around our shared vision going into the upcoming April 12th Dorchester Republican Convention. Since our announcement, we’ve gathered the support of several rock solid elected conservatives who believe in that vision. Here’s a list of the elected officials who have announced their support so far:

Speaking Engagements:
I had an opportunity to speak to the Dorchester County Republican Women’s Club this week about the stakes going into the upcoming 2026 election cycle, from the perspective of a campaign strategist, we will have our hands full in Dorchester County - we need an experienced leader to help deliver Republican victories up and down the ballot in the 2026 mid terms.
Charleston hosted the Young Republican National Federation's Spring Conference this week, and I was honored as the new Greater Charleston Young Republican Chairman to give the welcoming remarks to our out of town visitors at the Golden Age Gala with Riley Gaines, Lt Gov Pamela Evette, and SCGOP Chairman Drew McKissick.
Speaking of Young Republicans…
The Greater Charleston Young Republicans (Charleston, Berkeley, and Dorchester) needed new leadership and my team and I decided to step up. Our goal was to create a fun, relevant, and effective group where Young Republicans can engage in monthly activities and get involved in politics.
Our #AmericaFirst slate won our election this week handily by a 2-1 margin signing up dozens of young Republicans to come vote for us over a 10 day period. Due to our efforts the past couple weeks, we were informed that we have built THE LARGEST Young Republicans chapter in all of South Carolina with over 75 active dues paying members.
We’re just getting started, so stay tuned to our Facebook page to stay in the loop on upcoming social events, speakers, and networking opportunities.

What’s Coming Up?
This weekend we got news of a candidate forum for the contested positions in the upcoming Dorchester County Republican Convention. So far the only contested positions are Chairman, and 1st Vice Chair, so Brit Mahoney (my choice for 1st Vice Chair) and I immediately accepted the invitation. Mark your calendars to come out and support!
Anywhere, Any Place, Any Time
Many are saying we are moving at break-neck speeds - just know I’ll bring this same level of intensity, dedication, and energy as your next Chairman of the Dorchester County Republican Party.
Have a wonderful start to your week, please let me know if you have any questions about the upcoming reorganization process! It’s an all hands on deck situation so make sure to check your precinct reorganization date above!
In Liberty,
CJ Westfall
